This large sophisticated investment firm has a rare opportunity for a Senior Manager to join the Investment Operations team on a 12 month fixed term contract.   

Reporting into the Head of Department, the Senior Accountant role focuses on managing the operational and reporting aspects of a global infrastructure portfolio. The position offers an opportunity to work within a growing infrastructure investments team.  

Starting as a 12 month fixed term contract there is a possibility this role could move into a long term position.

The Role

• Manage operational and reporting activities for the infrastructure portfolio, ensuring timely delivery of key outputs.
• Prepare financial statements, including Balance Sheets, Profit and Loss, and Cash Flow, in line with global standards.
• Handle annual tax returns, quarterly BAS, and other statutory and investor reporting obligations.
• Upload trial balances to produce monthly management accounts.
• Assist with audit planning and resolve queries efficiently.
• Collaborate with treasury, legal, tax, and risk teams on strategic initiatives.
• Maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders.
• Leverage data analytics to deliver actionable financial insights.

• Degree in Accounting/Finance, Business, Commerce, or equivalent.
• CA or CPA qualified or nearing completion.
• At least 5 years of post-graduate experience in funds management.
• In-depth knowledge of financial and investment reporting, including standards and frameworks across multi-jurisdictional environments.
• Extensive experience within funds management or within the financial services sector with exposure to funds management.
• Confidence to interact professionally with senior stakeholders and clients, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Intermediate/advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
