    Perigon Group is proud to partner with South Bank Corporation to appoint a Senior Manager, Contracts, a newly created leadership role offered on an initial 2-year fixed term contract. This position will play a key role in uplifting the organisation’s commercial, contract and procurement frameworks to support the next phase of precinct growth.
      
    The Opportunity
    Reporting to the General Manager, Corporate Services, this role leads the end-to-end management of complex commercial agreements across the precinct. You will design and embed contemporary contract management frameworks, uplift systems and templates, and work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure contracts deliver strong commercial, legal and operational outcomes.

    This is a high impact role with significant visibility across the organisation. You will shape the contract management function, support governance uplift, and mentor a team of procurement and contract professionals in a fast evolving and highly collaborative environment.
      
    Key Responsibilities
    Contract Leadership and Governance
    • Lead the full contract lifecycle including drafting, negotiation, renewals, variations and performance oversight.
    • Develop and embed a modern contract management framework aligned to organisational governance requirements.
    • Partner with contract owners to achieve optimal commercial, legal and operational outcomes.
    • Provide strategic advice on risk, performance measures, KPIs and mitigation strategies.
    Procurement Support and Frameworks
    • Support the development and uplift of procurement systems, templates and processes.
    • Ensure procurement activities align with the Queensland Procurement Policy.
    • Enable best practice procurement and compliance through coaching and continuous improvement.
    Leadership and Culture
    • Lead, develop and support a team of procurement and contract specialists.
    • Foster a collaborative, inclusive and future focused culture aligned to South Bank Corporation’s values.
    About You
    You will be a commercially minded leader with experience managing complex contracts in a large, multidisciplinary or statutory environment. You bring:
    • Several years of experience in contract management or procurement leadership roles.
    • Deep knowledge of contract law, commercial frameworks and negotiation strategies.
    • Experience developing and embedding contract or procurement frameworks.
    • Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to partner at all levels.
    • Experience mentoring teams and driving process improvement.
    • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Law, Business, Finance or a related field.
