Join a leading educational industry organisation who are looking to hire a Senior Payroll Officer for a 9-month contract. This would be suitable for an immediately available Senior Payroll Officer looking to take their career to the next step. This contract has the possibility of extending depending on business needs.
The Role
This 9-month contract
with the possibility of extending will be suitable for an immediately available
or soon to be immediately available Senior Payroll Officer, who will report directly to the Payroll Manager.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Process end-to-end payroll for 2000+ staff
- Maintaining employee data
- Processing on boarding & terminations
- Managing the administration, calculation, payment and reconciliation of all superannuation contributions & payroll tax
- Process time sheets (fortnightly/monthly pay runs)
- Adhere to Payroll statutory requirements
- Communicating to internal and external stakeholders
- Interpret of EBA and Modern Award
- Streamlining current payroll functions
- Arrange new starters
About You

Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 2-3 years of end-to-end payroll experience
- High volume end to end payroll processing experience
- Multi entity experience
- Intermediate excel skills
- Experience with a large payroll system
- Experience with large & complex payrolls
