This fast-paced, dynamic organisation requires a Senior Payroll Officer on a permanent basis. 
The Senior Payroll Officer is responsible for not only running payroll, however will also support the Manager to supervise junior staff and assist with more complex issues. 
Your responsibilities include, but may not be limited to;
- Overseeing and processing end to end pay runs
 - Checking contracts, terminations and employment changes
 - Overseeing transactions and off-cycle pay
 - Reconciliations and reporting as required by HR
 - Dealing with payroll queries as required
 - Assist with training, mentoring and coaching
 - Adhering to all relevant awards and relevant legislation
 - Assist with internal and external audit requirements
 - Checking all leave reconciliations
 - Assist with month-end reporting as required
 - Adhoc duties as required
 
You will be an experienced Payroll Officer with circa 5+ years experience, having worked in a high-volume environment and on a large payroll system - ideally Chris21. You will also have strong excel skills, an in-depth knowledge of superannuation, taxation, payroll tax and other payroll legislative requirements and outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
