We’re partnering with a property investment group with a long-standing presence in the Australian market. Due to a recent gap in the team, they’re seeking an experienced Senior Property Accountant to join on an initial 3-month contract, with potential to extend or convert to permanent.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full month-end and year-end reporting for a mixed property portfolio
- Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow reporting
- Oversee accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Partner with property and leasing teams to ensure accurate tenant receivables, outgoings, and incentives
- Coordinate annual outgoings estimates and reconciliations
- Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and banking partners on compliance and reporting matters
- Support process improvement initiatives across systems and reporting
- Strong background in Property Accounting and can take ownership of P&L
- Prior experience in property, family office, or professional services with relevant clients
- Hands-on approach and ability to work autonomously in a small, dynamic team
