Reporting to the Tax Manager, you’ll work across both tax compliance and statutory reporting, taking ownership of key deliverables while partnering with advisors, auditors and stakeholders across the business.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Preparing corporate tax returns and supporting FBT, BAS and PAYG compliance
- Assisting with statutory accounts under IFRS and coordinating with external auditors
- Managing tax and statutory filings for the New Zealand entity
- Preparing cash flow forecasts and tax reporting packages for head office
- Supporting SOX documentation and compliance processes
- Partnering with finance and operational teams on various projects and initiatives
- Responding to ATO queries, audits and reviews
To be successful, you’ll ideally have:
- CA/CPA qualification (or working towards)
- Solid experience in corporate tax and/or statutory accounting
- Strong knowledge of audit and statutory reporting requirements
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- A proactive and collaborative approach, with the ability to juggle competing deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine interest in partnering with the business
