Job Description:

  • Lead treasury for a high growth financial services organisation
  • Shape funding, liquidity, and balance sheet strategy at executive level
  • Sydney CBD based
  • We’re partnering with a high-performing, next-generation financial services organisation to appoint a Treasurer during a critical phase of growth and maturity.

This is a rare and high-impact leadership opportunity for an experienced Treasury professional to shape and execute funding, liquidity, and balance sheet strategies for an organisation with strong leadership, a clear mission, and national reach.

Reporting to the CFO, you’ll be a key member of the leadership team - working closely with internal stakeholders, regulators, and external funding partners to ensure financial soundness and compliance across the Treasury function.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead the development and execution of funding and liquidity strategies, including securitisation programs and alternative structures.
    • Manage balance sheet risk, including interest rate and maturity mismatches, within risk appetite.
    • Oversee the investment portfolio, asset allocation, and surplus funds.
    • Ensure compliance with APRA Prudential Standards, RITS/Austraclear operations, and ALCO reporting.
    • Identify and manage financial risks across market, liquidity, and funding, collaborating with Risk and Compliance teams.
    • Enhance treasury systems, processes, and policies in line with business scale and regulatory expectations.

    About You:

    • Proven track record in senior Treasury roles within banking or financial services, with broad exposure across funding, securitisation, and balance sheet management.
    • Deep understanding of APRA Prudential Standards, ALCO reporting, and regulatory expectations.
    • Experienced in engaging with external funding markets, regulators, and executive leadership.
    • A strategic thinker who brings rigour, resilience, and stakeholder influence.
    • Meets APRA Fit & Proper criteria for a Responsible Person.

    What’s on Offer:

    • High-impact leadership role at a dynamic bank with real momentum.
    • Significant visibility and influence across executive and board levels.
    • Competitive package with flexible location options
    • Be part of a mission-driven, fast-paced team with a modern approach to banking.

Perigon Group is proud to be recruiting this role exclusively – Sydney and Brisbane candidates to be considered.
