We’re partnering with a high-performing, next-generation financial services organisation to appoint a Treasurer
during a critical phase of growth and maturity.
This is a rare and high-impact leadership opportunity for an experienced Treasury professional to shape and execute funding, liquidity, and balance sheet strategies for an organisation with strong leadership, a clear mission, and national reach.
Reporting to the CFO, you’ll be a key member of the leadership team - working closely with internal stakeholders, regulators, and external funding partners to ensure financial soundness and compliance across the Treasury function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of funding and liquidity strategies, including securitisation programs and alternative structures.
- Manage balance sheet risk, including interest rate and maturity mismatches, within risk appetite.
- Oversee the investment portfolio, asset allocation, and surplus funds.
- Ensure compliance with APRA Prudential Standards, RITS/Austraclear operations, and ALCO reporting.
- Identify and manage financial risks across market, liquidity, and funding, collaborating with Risk and Compliance teams.
- Enhance treasury systems, processes, and policies in line with business scale and regulatory expectations.
About You:
- Proven track record in senior Treasury roles within banking or financial services, with broad exposure across funding, securitisation, and balance sheet management.
- Deep understanding of APRA Prudential Standards, ALCO reporting, and regulatory expectations.
- Experienced in engaging with external funding markets, regulators, and executive leadership.
- A strategic thinker who brings rigour, resilience, and stakeholder influence.
- Meets APRA Fit & Proper criteria for a Responsible Person.
