3 month immediate start temp role as an Administration Officer in an Aged Care Home

About the role 
Our client is a large aged care provider and is looking for capable and compassionate people to join and support their aged care facilities and maintain the admin related duties of their aged care homes. 

Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
  • Provide prompt and friendly support and service to residents, relatives and visitors
  • Undertakes a range of office procedures such as mail, telephone enquiries and call transfers, photocopying,
    faxing and ordering of supplies
  • Maintains up to date employee files, including current contracts/employment agreements, working rights
    documentation and contact details (e.g. address, phone numbers, etc.)
  • Supports the Executive Director with the coordination, recording and communication of rostering and leave
  • Assists with financial procedures such as receipting, petty cash, resident billing, payroll and associated reports.
About you 
Our ideal candidate has proven problem solving and time management skills along with the ability to manage challenging and emotive situations.

  • Qualifications in Business Administration or a related field (highly regarded)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to prioritise, organise and complete work within established deadlines, and to maintain a consistent level of professionalism
  • Professionally presented with high-level telephone manner
