Job Description
Well known media business with an outstanding reputation and a finance team of 15 are seeking an up-and-coming Assistant Accountant for this month end focused role working closely with a high-achieving team. This is a great opportunity to work with a big 4 trained manager in a tightly knit team which would offer excellent training and progression internally.
The role
Reporting into the Senior Accountant, this role is responsible for (and not limited to)
- Daily reconciliations
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Maintenance of the fixed asset register
- Assisting with the month end close
- Profit & loss analysis
- GST Journals and BAS
- Help out with ongoing projects surrounding process improvement and implementations
- Outstanding communication, both written and verbal
- At least 12 months of experience across an Assistant Accountant or Accounts Clerk role
