The Organisation
Our client is a leading services organisation looking to continue the development of their in house Marketing & Communications team at a group level. They have a newly created role responsible for the strategic planning as well as the delivery and execution of their Internal and External Communications requirements. 

The Role
Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing, you will be responsible for leading the internal and external communication strategy for the organisation. 

Internally the role will focus on increasing employee engagement by facilitating two-way communication between management and staff, supported by a multichannel content strategy.

Externally your role is to grow the organisations brand via content strategy and execution, seizing media and PR opportunities, preparing media releases, through leadership content, promoting our shared values and optimising the website.

Duties will include;
  • Develop and implement internal and external communications and content strategies aligned with business goals
  • Define key performance indicators for communications activity to measure and optimise success
  • Create internal communications initiatives that will deliver employee engagement, collaboration, cross sell, and shared learning.
  • Facilitate two-way internal communication across all internal channels, SharePoint, Teams, email, etc. 
  • Manage all branded marketing and communications collateral and content, and develop a centralised file management structure on SharePoint for Tenders
  • Proactively develop a calendar of internal communications to various stakeholders across the business, including email, video, Teams.
  • Grow the social channels via targeted and engaging content development, including whitepapers, website copy, business highlights and more.
  • Promotion of our shared values organisations and initiatives, both internally and externally
  • Identify and execute media opportunities for the brand. Including preparation of press releases, press kits, newsletters, and related marketing materials.
About You
Ideally you will have 5 years experience working in a communications role with proven success designing and executing communications strategies aligned with business goals. With the key focus area of the role being within the development and roll out of their internal comms strategy, the successful candidate will need significant exposure within this area of communications.
