Job Description
This newly created Finance Manager role will be responsible for managing a small finance team of 2 x Accountants and 1 x Assistant Accountant. You will prepare monthly management accounts and investigate variances. You will also assist with quarterly and ad-hoc reporting. You will manage the month end process and reconcile intercompany accounts and various Group accounts.
In addition you will manage the annual audit process, maintain the asset register as well as draft various working papers and reports. You will liaise with sales and marketing teams, property development teams and State managers for all data and information requests.
Finally you will look after the treasury reporting process, review internal controls and identify areas of improvement. In addition you will be a super user for multiple information systems.
To be considered for this role you will be proven Finance Manager with the ability to handle high pressure and time sensitive projects and tasks. You will be technically and practically minded and be willing to learn and adapt to a changing environment. Previous experience working in property, development or asset management will be advantageous.
