Job Description

Large Not for Profit based in the Western Suburbs requires the assistance of an experienced Fixed Asset Accountant to join their finance team. Starting as a three month contract there is an opportunity for the role to go permanent.

Reporting into the Finance Manager, there is a requirement for a contractor to assist in preparing asset data for an upload into the companies asset management system. This opportunity is expected to go permanent for the right person.

Responsibilities will include however not limited to -

Perform investigation into existing assets through out there different sites
Liaising with different departmental managers on existing and newly acquired assets
Entering asset data and Analysis of content in Excel
Reconcile asset data prior to and after upload and perform comprehensive testing of the data to ensure that data is fit for its purpose.

To be considered for this role you will have previous experience working on fixed assets in a commercial environment. Extensive experience working with Excel will be highly desirable. You will be required to manipulate large amounts of data, so excellent spreadsheet skills are a must.
