Our client is a well-regarded property Group that thrives to innovate and make a positive impact on the industry. They are known to deliver first class service and development. They currently seek for an ambitious, Fund/Trust Accountant to join their high performing team in Melbourne.
About the role
Working closely with other Fund Accountants of the team, this position will be responsible for:
- Delivering daily unit prices for the fund
- Maintaining ledgers and keeping journals up to date
- Preparing monthly management accounts, half year/full year accounts
- Preparing monthly/quarterly BAS returns
- Assisting with annual tax returns and preparation of fund budgets
- Maintaining fixed asset register and tax schedules
Skills and experience required
- CA/CPA qualification (or partly qualified), and relevant tertiary qualifications
- Previous experience in accounting with exposure to statutory reporting
- Demonstrated experience in unit pricing
- Excellent communication skills and strong time management
