Job Description
Operate as a strategic partner to the General Manager to assist them and their leadership team to deliver effective workforce solutions across the full employee life cycle including:
- Role scoping and classification
- Recruitment & attraction
- Contracting and on-boarding
- Performance development
- Workforce planning
- Performance management & disciplinary action
- Grievances and disputes
- Workcover claims management
- Health and safety matters
- Departures and off-boarding
- Establish effective relationships and coach leaders to build internal HR capability to manage staffing issues
- Proactively plan for current and future workforce needs in partnership with the GM, ensuring a strong focus on values alignment, workforce engagement, and a culture of accountability
- Foster a high-performance culture across the Division through the provision of effective case management and advice.
- Partner with the GM to provide support for change management initiatives, including consultation and engagement with unions
- Oversee and guide the work of the HR Coordinator to ensure administrative aspects of HR services are delivered in the relevant region accurately, responsively, and with a customer service focused approach.
- Engage with the broader P&C team on company wide projects and strategic HR initiates
- Collaborate with the Manager HR Business Partnering (and subject matter experts) on complex staffing issues, and report progress in against KPIs
- Other ad-hoc duties as required
$90K plus super plus the benefits of salary packaging ($15,600).
