The Role
Looking for a experienced secretary (graduates will be accepted but only with prior experience in a private practise as a secretary) to join a professional, traditional, fast-paced team as the right-hand to the one partner in particular (some EA duties required) whilst assisting ad-hoc with the wider team of 18, alongside 3 other Secretaries.
- Typing and collation of various legal documents
- Liaising with external bodies such as the Tax Institute and Law Council of Australia
- Entry of timesheet data and preparation of client accounts (billing)
- File and diary management (including travel bookings)
- Email filing and electronic file management
- Monthly billing
- File maintenance and archiving
- Other administrative tasks as required
- Previous experience as a secretary in professional services
- First class organisational and communications skills
- Advanced skills in Microsoft applications (particularly Outlooks, Word and PowerPoint)
- Accurate typing, spelling, grammar and proof-reading skills
- Billing experience
- Prior experience in a private practise
