Sydney-CBD based company working in the serviced apartment space, looking to provide an alternative to hotel rooms for business trips. The Role
The facilities / maintenance coordinator supports the operations team in a hands-on capacity across property onboarding, day-to-day maintenance and offboarding. They perform basic maintenance tasks across the lifecycle of the property and are responsible for coordinating specialized contractors for larger repair and maintenance works as necessary.
This role is primarily field-based and requires physical labor, including the use of hand-tools for furniture assembly, maintenance tasks and minor ad-hoc jobs. Driving is required.
- Assist the Operations team with onboarding new properties
- Install / assemble furniture
- Hang art-work
- Install lock-boxes
- Conduct ad-hoc site visits for maintenance, inspections and deliveries (as dispatched by Operations Manager)
- Perform basic maintenance tasks using hand tools such as tightening loose fixtures, replacing/repairing toilet seats, etc.
- Manage warehouse inventory and stock, including organizing of warehouse items, purchases and stock management of small maintenance items (i.e. cables/batteries) and rubbish disposal. Support new property onboarding by helping prepare for transport from warehouse to property
- Effectively manage/reduce costs of 3rd party contractors by bringing simple tasks in house
Need someone who has had previous trade experience to reduce time to action on-site installation and maintenance items.
