Job Description
Working under the Payroll Team Leader, you'll carry out a range of duties relating to the processing of all pay runs. You'll drive the administration of your allocated monthly payroll, as well as the distribution of reports, preparation of data for the finance team, handling of queries and the import & review of timesheet data.
You'll manage the maintenance of employee records, including actioning any changes, leave requests and terminations. You will also assist with the administration of payments for Super, PAYG, etc, as well as compliance, statutory reporting and rolling out of legislative changes when required. You will maintain an up-to-date knowledge of all award interpretation and assist the Team Leader with month-end tasks as directed.
You'll have minimum 4 years Australian payroll experience, from within a large, corporate payroll function. Professional services sector experience (legal, consulting or accounting) highly regarded but not essential. You will also have a comprehensive understanding of relevant payroll legislations. SAP Payroll experience is highly regarded. Finally, you'll have outstanding written & verbal communication skills, excellent problem-solving ability and you'll place a high degree of emphasis on customer service.
