A highly desirable retail organisation with a huge presence is experiencing significant business growth. They pride themselves on their fun, forward thinking and edge in which they offer something completely different to all of their competitors.
With a team of 8, they are looking to bring in a reconciliations officer on an initial two month contract with the potential of this role going permanent.
Their office is based in Bowen Hills, close to public transport and near by parking.
Reporting into the Financial Controller, you will initially be responsible for high volume, complex general ledger reconciliations before moving into a more day to day accounting role.
This business has a large volume of transactions on a daily basis and therefore has a large amount of reconciliations that need to be performed. At the moment there is a large back log to get through but then this role will be heavily involved with posting journals and assisting with month end and year end.
To be considered for this role you must have multiple years of experience working for a large complex business where you have gained experience in high volume reconciliations. You will ideally have had exposure to a large ERP and will be an excellent verbal and written communicator.
You will enjoy working in a vibrant and growing organisation which is going through a significant amount of change in regards to systems and process improvement.
