Established in 2010 and headquartered in Sydney, Alceon has invested over $3.8 billion of capital for its high net worth, family office and institutional clients across real estate, private equity, and listed equity.
The Analyst is a newly created role within the Real Estate Funds Management Team of Alceon. This role will report to the Head of Real Estate Funds Management who oversees Alceon's three open ended funds.
The Analyst will also work extensively with the Transaction Management Team, Real Estate Team, and other members of the Real Estate Funds Management Team on a day to day basis.
The Analyst’s key responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining detailed NAV, fund and cash flow models for Alceon's two open ended real estate debt funds: Alceon Real Estate Credit Fund (ARECF), and Alceon Debt Income Fund (ADIF).
- These models will be for both internal and external purposes, including assisting the Fund Manager with portfolio management and asset allocation decisions.
- Integrating risk management controls and outputs into the fund model on an 'As Is' and forecast basis to ensure compliance with fund documentation and internal guidelines.
- Preparing the model and engaging with the external fund administrator for the monthly NAV approval.
- Drafting individual deal papers for submission and approval by the Trustee.
- Assisting the Fund Manager with FX calculations and trades for the Cayman Feeder Fund into ARECF.
- Preparing monthly performance calculations for the funds.
- Contributing to the preparation of monthly and quarterly investor reports.
- Assisting the Fund Manager in reviewing fund distributions.
- Assisting the Fund Manager with Trustee board paper preparation.
- Liasing with the teams of a number of key clients to service their information requirements.
- Undertaking various ad hoc projects as required to support the funds management team including growth in funds under management.
- Post graduate studies in finance (eg CFA) or CA/CPA qualified would be highly regarded.
- 2 – 3 years’ relevant experience in financial services sectors spanning areas such as investment banking, credit, project finance, real estate funds management or chartered accounting.
- Real estate debt or credit experience would be highly regarded.
