Job Description

Our client is leading global professional services business with an opportunity available in their Brisbane head office. This role will work in their internal Risk & Compliance team and specialise in assessing conflicts of all new matters to the firm. 

Reporting to the Conflicts Manager, your key responsibilities will include;
  • Process and analyse new client and new matter requests.
  • Analyse information in the firm's conflict management systems and other databases to identify legal, commercial, reputational and strategic risks.
  • Work collaboratively with team members and Management to find solutions to these potential issues.
  • Conduct Corporate Tree searches.
  • Record excellent notes to serve as a record of compliance for our insurers, regulators and firm management.
  • Maintain the highest standards of data quality within the conflicts database.
To be considered for this role you will ideally have administration experience in a Risk & Compliance team. Recent law graduates who aren't looking to be practicing solicitors will also be considered.
