Our client, a reputable Australian Asset Manager, has a unique opportunity to join their talented finance team in an Assistant Accountant capacity, to cover a maternity leave. City location.
Reporting to the Finance manager, this role will primarily assist with all functions relating to the month-end financial accounting process.
Tasks will include:
- Accounts payable & accounts receivable
- Cash flow management
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Forecasting and budgeting
- Assist with BAS, tax returns, FBT
- Adhoc duties as required

To be considered you are Degree qualified, and part CPA/CA, with working experience across the above-mentioned duties within the financial services sector. You have a proven track-record of producing accurate work, with the ability to manage various work processes around month-end reporting. You bring a ‘can-do’ attitude to your day – and will be enthusiastic to assist the Finance Manager. You have strong Ms Excel ability, and finance systems exposure.
This role will begin in November.
