Australian ASX Listed organisation are looking for Senior Business Analyst for a regional data definitions and mapping to Supply Chain & Procurement. In this role, you will be playing a key role in supporting IT and its Business Customers by providing BA services in a manner that aligns. You will be skilled in operating within the context of a project, as well as being able to identify and provide specific targeted consulting services to the business. In addition, this role will be key in shaping and defining demands through the utilisation of their skills in problem analysis and stakeholder engagement. You will play an integral role in engaging with the Business or Function in defining their needs and providing direction with regard to the appropriate approach toward addressing those needs.

Key Project Responsibilities;
  • Responsible for undertaking a detailed review, analysis, update and documenting existing and new businesses processes
  • Responsible for capturing qualitative and quantitative data analysis
  • Responsible for capturing and documenting regional requirements to feed into a product solution ​
  • Providing recommendation for existing processes, in order to enhance and embed system solutions
  • Responsible for regional data definitions and mapping to Supply Chain taxonomy.​
  • Responsible for assisting the Product Owners and Development Teams with ad-hoc requirements in respect of regional system build and implementation
  • Responsible for liaison with other program teams to ensure alignment on data and process definitions and taxonomies.
  • Working with project teams to develop User Test Cases/Scripts, Test Planning, Development and Management (in the absence of a testing resource)​ and acceptance criteria
  • Responsible for regional UAT management (in the absence of a Test Manager)
  • Experience with Agile implementation approaches and methodologies
  • Undertake any other project tasks as agreed by the Project Manager.
  • Deliver services in accordance with practices and standards as determined by the Global Business Analysis Practice.
  • Provide early warning of new projects/work efforts by capturing the required details and recording them in the PPM System.
  • Deliver approved projects/work efforts to the agreed schedule and budget, to the standard required by the IT Project Framework process, and to the satisfaction of the business customer. This includes:
  • Defining and documenting scope,
  • Managing stakeholder expectations through effective communications,
  • Producing mandatory Project Framework deliverables,
  • Ensuring sufficient testing is performed to confirm that the solution is fit for purpose,
  • Managing the production deployment and handover to BAU/support
Experience required to be successful:
  • Minimum 5 years in a Business Analyst role
  • Minimum of 10 years in the IT industry
  • Business Analysis experience in property-related roles
  • Experience working in the business in a non-IT role
  • Process improvement of BA/IT processes
  • Project Management of small to medium-sized projects
  • Knowledge of Design Thinking methodology
  • Knowledge of Lean Process Improvement methodology
  • Agile Project Management Methodology
  • BPMN2 Process Notation Standard
