Job Description
What you will be responsible for:
- Map Finance business processes and identify the value they provide
- Define the scope of the enterprise toolset required to efficiently service the financial needs of the business.
- Identify and treat required integration points with ERP, Financial systems and other applications
- Provide input into the cost-benefit analysis of the implementation of the toolset
- Create implementation & Integration plan including required team, vendor operating model, licensing, capacity, change management and quality assurance
- Primary conduit between finance and technology teams ensuring solution alignment with technology architecture, future scalability and industry security standards required of a major financial institution
- Liaise with vendors and/or implementation partners under a structured framework to ensure consistency of assessment and avoidance of conflicts of interest
- Ongoing documentation and management of risks
- Prepare materials for data-driven decisions and regular stakeholder updates. Communicate salient points up to and including board level
- Demonstrable experience in vendor selection and competitive bid process
- Experience in financial technology
- Modern accounting practices
- Strong understanding of major ERP Systems relevant to values and scale
- Pragmatism when dealing with complexity
- Ability to build a sense of collaborative ownership
- Confidence to question the status quo
- Expierence with SQL Quering and Integration points
- Scaled Agile Framework familiarity
- Data-driven decision making
- Ability to engage, understand and influence non-direct reports
