Job Description

High Profile Australian Organisation is going through a National technology transformation, systems consolidation etc. They are looking for an IT Systems Trainer Change Analyst you will be developing stakeholder communications packages, executive change plans and provide impact analysis for their Multi Streamed Program of work. You will be involved in projects that are at different stages of the SDLC and will be required to do change and training documents for the end users while scoping the next pipeline of work!

IT Systems Trainer/Change Analyst will plan, develop, and deliver IT training for technical and non-technical staff, and will assist the Project Director, Project Managers, Change Managers and Operation Managers in creating technical documentation for the IT department. The position will be tasked with training staff on various IT systems. You will also work with members of the IT department to identify areas that require training and appropriate training materials.

Duties and Responsibilities;

IT Training;
  • Conduct formal and informal training needs assessments
  • Develop curriculum and documentation for application and system training
  • Design, develop, deliver, evaluate, and maintain training in a variety of formats, including in-person (i.e. small- and large-group, one-on-one), webinars, screen capture video, and eLearning
  • Produce and maintain training materials, including participant guides, job aids, quick reference guides, and knowledge articles
  • Work with internal subject matter experts, as needed, to ensure training content relevancy and accuracy
  • Consult with end users regularly to identify new training opportunities
Technical Writing;
  • Plan, write, edit, and maintain the currency of operational, maintenance, and process/procedural documents for paper, multimedia, or web-based publication. Examples of documentation include system design documents, application specification documents, reports and dashboard specification documents, integration processes specification documents, and infrastructure requirements specification documents
  • Research and translate technical information into manuals and/or web-based documents for non-technical and technical users.
  • Meet with subject matter experts to write, edit, index, or revise documentation of limited scope and technical complexity, and expand to detailed documentation as directed
  • Ensure adherence to specifications and participate in the review of technical documents
  • Provide guidance and direction to staff about content, quality, graphics, coverage, format, and style
  • Review, proofread or edit complex or technical documents written by others
Task Management
  • Prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and follow through on issues in a timely manner
  • Ensure all tasks are completed on time and within scope and budget
  • Establishes and maintains ongoing working relationships with management, other employees, internal or external stakeholders and customers
  • Contributes to group discussions and information sharing
