Job Description

Our client is a not for profit organisation assisting people and their community with their needs from aged care, community and disability support services. With operations all over Queensland this organisation has a new vacancy for a Claims Administration and Payments Officer to join our team based at their Southside offices near Logan.

Your key responsibilities will include; 
  • Administering claims and processing payments and reconciliations for client files 
  • Investigate variances in payment claims and recommend required action
  • Process monthly Plan Management financial administration fee
  • Track and plan end dates and manage the transition to the new plan period
  • Generate monthly statements for Plan Management clients in coordination with the Accounts Payable Officer
  • Support Accounts Payable Officer to clear any backlog of invoices for Plan Management clients
To be successful in this role, you’ll have demonstrated experience in a similar role, and any prior experience in health care, or not for profit will be highly regarded. Experience using Microsoft Office Packages including Word, Excel and Outlook. You will have excellent time management and task planning skills. You will have strong communication skills and show the ability to work autonomously. Previous experience with Client Management Systems
Accounting or finance roles will viewed favourably.
