My client is very well established and successful Australian based manufacturing business, a market leader in it's space who's client base runs across blue chip businesses to mum-and-dad operations.
The opportunity exists for a highly ambitious, self starter to join a high calibre commercial finance function who are transforming the way the business operates. This role specifically partners with Supply Chain and Operations.
Working closely with the Head of Commercial Finance and Commercial Finance Manager you will use insights and analysis to drive the business forward as a finance business partner to Supply chain (heads of warehousing, procurement and inventory). You will be key to the budgeting and forecasting process as well as overseeing P&L's - including analysis & commentary - for manufacturing sites.
Importantly, you will be key to process efficiency and cost initiatives, managing and presenting business cases and providing recommendations to management.
You will be ideally have 1-2 years post-degree qualifications and ideally have started or recently completed your CA/CPA studies. Importantly, you will have a burning desire to establish / further your career in a commercial finance role.
Strong excel and exceptional communication skills will be key as will the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
