Job Description

Reporting to the General Manager, the Community Living Manager will be responsible for overseeing 16 residential homes for people with a disability.

Your role will involve full operational responsibility and leadership of a team of 10 plus Team Leaders.

Your role will be varied and complex and will include;
  • Formulation and and continuous review of a strategic Participant community plan
  • Research and seek out opportunities to optimise use of NDIS funding
  • Advocating for the rights of people living with a disability, within the disability sector and the wider community to enhance their independence
  • Create and maintain a positive culture in all programs and activities
  • Modify community offerings to ensure NDIS alignment & subsequent funding that focuses on a co designed model that is based on individual interests, goals and dreams
  • Manage operations and monitor performance against the strategic and business plan objectives and budget parameters
  • Ensure adherence to budget and compliance with delegations and other limitations
  • Ensure adherence to relevant legislative, regulative requirements and policies
  • Demonstrate active, positive leadership in line with the organisational vision, mission and values of the
  • Maintain a high standard of People Learning & Culture performance and ensure adherence to associated policies and procedures
