Taking a lead role within the team of 4, reporting into the Group head of Corp Finance you will be key to manage complete workstreams including the semi-annual valuation process, acquisition and divestments, equity and debt financing and supporting the team with business development projects.
You will manage the internal valuation model & internal forecasting, support pricing acquisition bid prices, assist with due diligence, analyse corporate/strategic initiatives, capital management such as equity raising and debt refinancing, assist with half-yearly and yearly investor presentations and work with the senior executive team on other key corporate projects.
Additionally, you will be called on to lead two analysts below as 2IC to the department head.
The successful candidate for this role will have relevant degree qualifications (i.e., economics, finance or actuarial) as well as possess a strong academic track record of achievement and ideally have gained high level excel modelling exposure.
You will have a minimum of 5 years working experience within an investment bank, consulting firm, big 4 corporate finance (M&A, transaction services etc.) or are coming out of a comparable corporate finance function of similarly complex commercial business. Ideally you will be moving out at Manager / VP or equivalent level.
