Job Description

Reporting into the Group Planning & Reporting Manager of this locally established, globally expanding Australian business, you'll be responsible for the provision of high quality decision support, financial modelling and financial analysis to drive business performance and aid decision making.

This will include developing robust and credible forecasts and analysis of actual results, as well as variances to budget/forecast. 

Specifically, you will provide detailed financial modelling and analysis in regards to the long term plan (key drivers, value creation, main challenges and risks). This will involve liaison with internal stakeholders in order to review and assess key assumptions and drivers, their impact on shareholder distributions and value and key ratios of the Group 

You'll also assist in the analysis & review of actuals, key drivers, etc, the preparation of Board papers and the annual budget submission for the Group.

Finally you'll assist the Strategy and Business Support team as required, in high-value projects, as well as assist in a variety of ad hoc projects (including refinancing activities, assessment of capital structure etc). 

You'll boast an outstanding academic track record, including a post-tertiary qualification such as CA/CPA/CIMA/CFA (or part-qualification thereof) and you'll ideally have 1-4 years' relevant working experience. 

You will also have gained high level analytics & financial modelling experience from within Big 4, Corporate Finance, consulting, TS or from within a large, complex Corporate environment. Excellent communication skills are a must.
