You will be responsible for the daily supervision and support of 6 credit controllers. This will involve managing performance and ensuring ledgers are being suitably managed. You will act as first escalation point for problem debts, and provide guidance as to the next course of action. You will also recommend external recovery proceedings when required, and manage instructions with agents.
In addition to the management piece, you will also be required to maintain and manage your own debtors ledger, and lead by example to ensure that all debts are actioned promptly and in accordance with team guidelines. This role will require you to liaise with partners and their assistants to ensure prompt resolution of client queries. You will also be required to stand in for the Credit Manager when necessary and assist with necessary financial reporting as required.
To be considered for this position you will have a minimum of 5+ years experience working within a corporate collections team. You will have previous experience working in a Team Leader or senior collectors role, preferably within a professional services environment. You will have excellent organisational skills, and strong supervisory and leadership skills. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading employer of choice.
