Job Description

We're working with a TOP ASX Listed organisation who are looking for a Data Analyst to play a crucial role in a C Level Backed Initiative. In this role you work with the HRIS project team and take ownership of the key data related to the Modern Award/Enterprise Agreement project and support the management, enrichment, analysis and tracking of that data. You will focus on sourcing and collating additional data to incorporate (in consultation with stream leads) and supporting detailed analytics and modelling of the data.
The focus/level of support delivered to various streams will change over the course of the project as different streams progress with their planning and execution.

The data has various audiences including but not limited to, C Suite, Board Level , key business stakeholders, managers, People & Culture, Industrial Relations and payroll.

What you will be responsible for:
  • Work as part of the Project Team to support tracking and data analytics across a variety of streams.
  • Act as custodian of project data assets to maintain, secure and verify the integrity of data used for analysis.
  • Working with project stream leads on approaches to close data gaps and where appropriate, taking the lead on those approaches
  • Tracking the collection of, maintaining and integrating further data to the project master data
  • Interpret report/analytics business requirements and engage with requestor to ensure clarity and that the output meets objectives
  • Sourcing and merging data from various sources to support detailed analysis and reporting requests
  • Identifying data insights for highlight to the project team
  • Identifying patterns and trends in data sets
  • Development and tracking of robust modelling assumptions and applying those to support analysis/assessment in line with project requirements
  • Enhance data collection and data processing practices and establish cleanse & update procedures
  • Apply robust data protection methods to ensure data security
  • Working closely with Project Stream Leads, Project Initiative Leads,
  • Payroll & People Operations Teams, Business stakeholders, P&C advisors
  • Experience with data structures, data profiling, matching, cleansing and standardisation.
  • Experience collecting and interpreting data.
  • Experience with HR Data, Compensation frameworks and Modern Awards required
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Data Reporting Skills 
  • Familiarity with MS Forms nice to have (not essential)
  • Experience in working to deadlines in a team environment
  • Experience working and effectively collaborating with project, operations and technology teams.
