The Opportunity:

This well-respected mid-tier law firm is looking for an experienced EA with legal secretarial experience to support a leading partner and their team of 4 in the Construction/Infrastructure space. With the partner managing a very busy practice, extensive travel and a lot of additional entrepreneurial work you will need to take charge, prioritise confidently and communicate clearly to help them manage their matters and time. Experience working in a fast-paced EA role being proactive and thinking ahead, especially around travel and meetings is essential. Candidates must have also worked in a legal secretarial capacity, with experience in billing.
Duties will include:
  • Domestic and international travel arrangement, including booking accommodation, meetings, events and restaurants
  • Extensive diary management
  • Presentation production
  • Liaising directly with clients
  • Document and correspondence preparation
  • Paper and electronic file management (Filesite)
  • Monthly billing and entering time (Expert)
  • General administration

About you:
  • At least 2 years’ experience in an Executive Assistant (EA) role with experience in a legal secretarial capacity
  • Experience in a Construction/Infrastructure/Property team is desirable
  • Proactive thinker with the ability to stay ahead of the game
  • Experience booking travel and managing a stakeholder who is consistently travelling
  • Professionally presented with experience liaising directly with blue chip clients
  • Ability to adapt to different working styles and stakeholders
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability and eagerness to build strong relationships with staff
  • Experience and confidence managing partner relationships
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong capability and confidence with technology, especially Microsoft Office
