The Opportunity:

This leading global law firm is looking for an experienced EA to support the two National Managers in the BD/Marketing team and provide overflow assistance to the broader team. The Managers are down-to-earth, personable and high performing and are looking for an EA who has a strong work ethic and emotional intelligence with a proactive attitude to anticipate their needs and demonstrate initiative. The role will assist them in managing their travel, diaries, meetings and presentations and assist the entire team through administering and updating the central database.
Duties will include:
  • Domestic and international travel arrangement, including booking accommodation, meetings, events and restaurants
  • Extensive diary and meeting management
  • Presentation production
  • Updating and administering the database
  • Liaising directly with stakeholders on behalf of the Managers
  • Document and correspondence preparation
  • Managing and organising team events and assisting in developing a sense of community in the team
  • General administration
The firm has a strong reputation in the market working with blue chip domestic and international clients on some of Australia’s largest transactional and litigious matters. With a range of in-house wellbeing, social and training initiatives this will be a challenging role in a supportive firm.
About you:
  • At least 2 years’ experience in an Executive Assistant (EA) role
  • Experience in professional services/law would be a positive
  • Proactive thinker with the ability to stay ahead of the game
  • Experience booking travel and managing a stakeholder who is consistently travelling
  • Professionally presented with experience liaising directly with blue chip clients
  • Ability to adapt to different working styles and stakeholders
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability and eagerness to build strong relationships with staff
  • Experience and confidence managing partner relationships
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong capability and confidence with technology, especially Microsoft Office
