Job Description

Seeking an enthusiastic, solutions driven candidate to join a top-tier company based in Sydney, CBD. This prestigious global listed organisation is looking for an experienced Corporate Facilities Team Leader to join their fast-paced office in a newly created role. 


The Role: 

In this role you will oversee a team of 6 facilities members and help run the day-to-day responsibilities of front and back of house. This includes management of the below:

Security:
  • Oversee staff and visitor security passes
  • Assist in management and maintenance of detailed security card information, visitor access, site safety inductions and issuing passes to visiting WSP staff 
  • Liaise with building management
  • Manage service and maintenance contractor access 

Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ):
  • Regular audits to ensure safety of all company premises 
  • Respond to and rectify all ISMS issues 
  • Managing emergency evacuation exercises
  • Regular review and upkeep of SHEQ signage 
  • Ensure administration staff adhere to OH&S requirements 
Procurement:
  • Maintenance and purchase of general operating office equipment 
  • Procurement of stationary/equipment for teams and projects 
  • Maintenance of kitchen/cleaning stock 
  • Management of all facilities related suppliers 
Finance: 
  • Detailed cost tracking of all variable operating expenses 
  • Process invoices and create purchase orders
  • Cost recoveries 
Front of House: 
  • Meeting room/event/function support 
  • Guest services/concierge 
  • Daily reception cover 
Back of House: 
  • Maintain all storerooms
  • Ensure consumables are stocked all day 
  • Manage all of office equipment/stock levels 

The Candidate:

To be successful for this role you will have a minimum of 6 years Facilities Supervision experience within a large, corporate company.  You must have experience overseeing/leading a team with a client focused and solutions driven attitude. You must have impeccable presentation and strong communication skills with the ability to liaise with people of all levels. You will have a confident personality,  initiative to delegate tasks and ability to multitask.
