Job Description

Leading global law firm with a history spanning almost 200 years. Opportunity for an experienced Finance Assistant to join the business on a 6 month contract basis.

This role will report into the Finance Operations Manager. You will deliver a range of services to internal/external clients in relation to Finance Operations activities. You will provide support to the trust administrator on all aspects of Trust and Controlled monies processing and issues. 

You will process all EFT and cheque payments and liaise with credit control in relation to possible refunds which may arise. You will process cheques and manage petty cash.

In addition you will provide support to lawyers and secretaries including billing, client and matter management and time and costs management.

To be considered for this role you will ideally have a Tafe certificate or Diploma in Accounting (advantageous). You will have previous experience in high volume transnational processing roles. Trust experience will be highly regarded. Previous experience working with Elite 3e (accounting system) will be a bonus. Previous experience working in a similar role for another legal firm or professional services firm will be beneficial.
