The Opportunity

This is a newly created role offering the opportunity to be a part of an exciting phase in this FinTech's growth. Rated among Australia's leading FinTech's by the AFR, Fintech Business Awards and KPMG & H2 Ventures in their Fintech 100 list. 

They are venture capital-backed and have gained mass appeal in the Australian market further complimented by securing a key corporate funding partner.

The primary responsibility of the Insights Analyst / Manager is to create value and deliver insights to the CFO/COO and other finance and operational stakeholders through data analytics. 

You will be key to setting up the data / SQL environment in order to drive strategic insights on yield performance, productivity, credit performance, and book performance. Through various datasets.

You will be tasked with creating excel based models and tables, reports and data visualisation. These metrics will include financial, economic and market data.

Ultimately the sky is the limit for this role, and growth potential will be based on the value you deliver to the business.

About you 
  • 3-10+ years of post-graduate experience gained in data analytics
  • Strong SQL and excel experience. Tableau exposure preferred (not essential)
  • Exceptional ability to synthesize and draw insights out of data and ability to articulate it. As well as interact and deliver value to a wide range of stakeholders 
  • Comfortable in the autonomy of a newly created role and pace of a start-up environment
