Managing a team of Hotel Accountants and transactional accounts staff, you'll be responsible for overseeing the weekly revenue & expense reporting, budget variance analysis, P&L preparation/review for a portfolio of the Firm's assets, balance sheet recs, month end journals/accruals/prepayments, stock recs/reporting, monthly gross margin review, supplier rebate calculations, CAPEX reporting, BAS and FBT.
You'll also be responsible for handling any escalated issues within the assets and overseeing the cash receipting, GL recs, bank reconciliations and AP.
Finally you will review and analyse weekly/monthly management reports for the venues. You will provide detailed analytics and commentary related to inventory, revenue, margin and costs.
You are CA or CPA qualified, with extensive experience in hands-on, high-volume cash & bank account reconciliations and P&L preparation, preferably in a multi-site hospitality or retail environment.
You will also have had experience managing staff and will demonstrate excellent problem solving and process improvement/project skills.
