Job Description

The organisation
Our client is a Not-For-Profit organisation providing NDIS and Aged Care services throughout regional Victoria.  The purpose of the organisation is to promote social well-being and independence.  

The Role
Reporting directly to the Director of Corporate Services, the Finance Manager will oversee all areas of financial management and compliance function.  The key responsibilities  will include:
  • Leading the Finance team
  • Financial Planning
  • Ensuring compliance with statutory reporting requirements, accounting standards, legislation, and financial statements
  • Manage AR, AP, Cost Accounting and Revenue Recognition functions
  • Reconciling NDIS income and lodge claims
  • Management of month-end close
  • Oversee Payroll, FBT, Superannuation
  • Budget re-forecasting and variances analysis

Skills & experience required
  • Tertiary qualification in Finance 
  • Leadership - managing, coaching, and mentoring a team
  • Strong knowledge of Compliance, Contract Management and Financial Reporting
  • Understanding of NDIS and Community Home Support Programme funding streams will be highly regarded
