Job Description

The Group Finance Systems team is looking for a highly organised and experienced Finance Systems Administrator to join the team in Brisbane. This position will provide systems administration and support for the Finance systems (predominantly Oracle) and ensure that system performance, availability, data integrity, security, and reporting meets the needs of the business.


Responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring the integrity and accuracy of the finance systems
  • Maintain Oracle ERP end-user access and master data. Provide system and security administration for Oracle, OAC, Blackline, and other finance systems
  • Manage end-user queries relating to the finance systems
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects and system testing for changes and/or enhancements
  • Maintain Finance Data Audits/validations
  • Provide system and reporting support for Finance - including end of month, Financial Year-end with the period close procedures in Oracle and associated systems
  • Assist in developing training material and maintaining up to date information for end-users/stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with relevant statutory and regulatory requirements
The team is looking for a logical thinker to deliver the above, but also wanting to participate in continuous improvement projects and system testing for enhancements in the future – ideally, someone who wants to grow and develop in this space and become a Specialist!

Skills and Experience
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in systems / IT from a recognised educational institution
  • Minimum 2 years experience in Oracle ERP systems administration or similar financial application
  • Have good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Understanding of relevant legislation, regulations and human resources systems
  • Highly organised, strong attention to detail and able to work to tight strict deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
