Leading ASX listed diversified property and investment group are on the lookout for an outstanding Fund Analyst. Offices in Sydney CBD.
You will work directly with the Senior Fund Analyst and will be an integral part of the fund team providing specific operational, analytical and fund management services for this fund.
You will prepare materials for external reporting obligations, including quarterly investor reports and group requests. You prepare quarterly reports and quarterly update presentations, investor tour packs and other standard marketing material. You will also assist with tracking historical fund performance versus peer and indices.
In addition you will assist with equity raising, including the management of investor due diligence and preparation of the equity raising material. You will also produce financial and property modelling including the rollout of a new system for the fund by undertaking parallel testing, updating fund forecasts models with actuals, assist with impact analysis of transactions and assist with fund budget preparation and monitoring.
To be considered for this role you will have strong academics as well as tertiary qualifications and a minimum of 2-5 years experience in a prior role working as an Analyst (ideally in funds). Investment banking or investment management experience is a distinct advantage. You will have advanced level Excel, Power Point and strong analytical and modelling skills.
Regardless, you will be highly ambitious with the view to use this as a platform to enter the business to do well and open up career paths in fund/investment management, Snr Analysis roles in other portfolios (retail, industrial or office) or corporate finance.
