Job Description

Reporting into a divisional Financial Controller, for this expanding, high-profile property group, you'll be joining a high-quality team environment, where you'll be allowed to realise your career potential.

You'll be responsible for the preparation of monthly management reports, variance analysis, preparation of financial statements, board reporting, tax, recs, audit queries and ad hoc reporting & analysis for specific entities.

Additionally, you'll liaise with a variety of internal & external stakeholders, including property managers, fund managers, investors and senior management, in handling adhoc queries & requests. And you'll contribute to monthly senior management meetings, allowing you to demonstrate your commercial nous and ability to understand and interpret underlying drivers and risks.

Finally, you'll continuously strive to identify & action process improvement and the implementation of best practice in reporting & systems, across all entities.

You're CA (or CPA) qualified, ideally with a background in Big 4 or mid tier business services or audit. Or otherwise you're coming from a commercial environment, from within a large Corporate, where you've been exposed to both complex financial reporting and commercial accounting.

Property and/or funds management experience is highly desirable.

Finally, you're an ambitious, driven accounting professional, with an appetite to develop your career within one of the leading lights in the Australian property funds industry. And you'll have outstanding communication skills, both written & verbal.
