As a result of a recent promotion, this large, high-growth property development/construction/asset management group is looking for an ambitious, technically competent CA/CPA qualified Financial Accountant to join their Group Finance function.
Reporting into the Senior Financial Accountant, the Group Statutory Accountant's core responsibilities will include assisting with the group-level monthly reporting, budgeting, trial balance analysis/commentaries, indirect taxes (payroll tax, GST), treasury accounting, complex bank recs, fixed assets, inter-company accounting and playing a key role in the half and year end audit process.
You will also be involved in internal business improvement projects, systems projects and other ad hoc pieces of work. As well as providing technical accounting advice to divisional stakeholders.
You are a newly qualified CA or CPA Financial Accountant, with 0-3 years' post-qualified experience, from within a large, complex, Corporate environment. Or are seeking your 1st move out of Big 4 or mid-tier chartered firm.
You'll have sound, up-to-date knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards, whilst property or construction sector experience would be beneficial. Excellent communication & stakeholder management skills are essential.
