The Role
This role provides contract and customer account support to growers using the QSL Direct system in an efficient and accurate manner.
This role will play an important part of QSL’s efforts to build a high degree of trust, responsiveness, and confidence in QSL’s services and systems, ensuring that Grower queries and expectations are met in a timely and effective way.

Key responsibilities
  • Ensure all client interactions are captured within QSL’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, building on the credibility, currency and relevance of client information to support future marketing and sales strategy development and activities.
  • Routinely analyse and consider trends that become known from the queries raised, and contribute to discussions about procedure modifications, system improvements and ways to better support growers.
  • Provide first level contact and convey resolutions to customer issues regarding the QSL Direct system, grower payments, farm transfers and other matters relating to growers’ accounts and contracts with QSL.
  • Manage the grower onboarding process, including:
    • ensuring contracts with growers are accurately prepared, fully executed and validated on behalf of QSL
    • providing administrative support to ensure contracts are entered into legal registers
    • entering grower details into CRM to establish QSL Direct portal user accounts, and
    • advising growers of portal login details and providing training and support in the use of the system.
  • Support the veracity and currency of growers’ production forecasts that they used to price against by:
    • analysing variances in production forecasts against actual production history
    • preparing deeds to enable growers to request changes to production forecasts to reflect material changes in their circumstances and making updates in the enterprise pricing and payment system to effect these requests, and
    • managing the data entry and/or import of grower production forecast data
  • Manage changes to growers’ accounts with QSL including to bank account details, third-party payment details and contact details.
  • Manage the transfer of farms and associated contractual obligations (including deceased estates) between growers including:
    • administering the end-to-end farm transfer process to ensure they are completed in a timely and accurate manner to ensure that the terms of the transaction between growers are affected
    • engaging with outgoing and incoming parties (including their legal representatives) to obtain all required information to ascertain the documentation required to legally effect the transfer
    • preparing and/or undertaking commercial checks of all legal deeds between the parties and QSL, and
    • analysing and performing changes in the CRM and/or enterprise pricing and payment system to affect the transaction and ensure that both parties are paid in accordance with the terms of their agreement.
  • Other ad hoc duties as required.
About You
  • Previous experience reviewing contracts, particularly in conveyancing/property or reviewing banking documentation will be highly regarded
  • A working knowledge of financial contracts and or any prior experience in financial services would be advantageous but not essential
  • Prior experience or understanding of the agriculture sector would be highly regarded.
  • Applicants from financial markets documentation, property or legal contracts backgrounds are encouraged to apply
  • Strong numeracy and literacy skills, applied in a problem-solving environment
  • Strong client-facing and communication skills
  • High degree of computer literacy, demonstrated strong use of Microsoft Office applications and the ability to learn new software applications and undertake simple networking diagnostics
