Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a generalist HR professional for a NFP organisation based in the south-east. 

The role

This is a short-term opportunity for one to two months, starting immediately. 

Responsible for the day to day HR activities, you will be responsible for overseeing a small People & Culture team with specific duties including:

  • Provision of HR advice to the Executive team on all elements of people and culture
  • Responsibility for all employee relations and industrial relations
  • Assisting stakeholders with performance management, recruitment, remuneration & benefits
  • Input into a variety of ongoing HR projects


Reporting to the CEO you will possess a good balance between strategy and operations with proven ability to engage and influence senior executives. 

About you:

You have extensive experience as a senior HR professional with strong interpersonal skills, great written and verbal communication and the ability to engage and influence a range of key stakeholders within the business.
work in a complex, every-changing environment. 

You have considerable experience in employee and industrial relations, principles, practices and policies as well as knowledge within Workplace Safety and WH&S. 

Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related field, alongside practical experience leading, managing, coaching, and developing others is essential.
