Based in Rhodes with working from home

The Opportunity

This global financial technology and consulting company works with some of the largest financial services organisations globally. With one of the team on parental leave they are in need of HR Operations Lead to manage the team of 4 on a 6 month fixed term contract. While the office is in Rhodes this role will predominantly work from home with some days in the office, dependant on need. With a shared service model this team manages all administration and operations support for ER, recruitment, new starters/leavers, HRIS, and policies and procedures. This role will work closely with the team and a variety of stakeholders in the broader HR team and business to ensure best practice and a continued focus on high performance and process improvement.

The day to day role will include:
  • Ensure best practice and high performance from the team
  • Ensure work is being delegated and picked up in a timely fashion
  • Improve and maintain best practice of HR processes
  • Maintain relationships with the HR and business managers
  • Provide assistance and guidance to team members
  • Manage annual performance and salary reviews for the team
  • Complete monthly reporting and follow up
  • Providing responses to HR queries and requests when needed
  
The Candidate
  • Degree in HR or related discipline is desirable
  • Knowledge of HR principles and legislation
  • Experience working in a HR team in a large, complex organisation
  • Experience managing/supervising a small team and ensuring high performance
  • Team player with a positive attitude and desire to lead from the front and get involved when needed
  • Comfort and ability working in a fast paced team and ensuring work is completed
  • Experience with engaging and building trusted relationships with senior managers
  • Strong operational management skills with a focus on customer service and best practice
  • Strong emotional intelligence and high level of energy and passion
  • Experience using Oracle databases is desirable
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate simply and clearly to all levels of staff
  • Experience with, and confidence in, adapting quickly and easily to a constantly changing environment
