The Opportunity:

Work with this well branded and recognised Australian Not for Profit! Our client is a leading provider in disability assistance across NSW and is looking to hire a senior HR Projects Manager to develop and implement strategic initiatives related to internal communications, branding, retention, reward and recognition, and D&I, to name a few. Working closely with the Head of Workforce Planning and Capability this role will both own certain projects and work closely with the Head and other key stakeholders to research, design and implement initiatives to help engage and retain staff over the long term and develop the brand and diversity of the company. With an engaged Executive team and an established strategic plan this role offers the opportunity to be creative and implement new and innovative ideas for the business.  The role is initially a 2 year fixed term contract with the possibility of it being extended. Candidates must have experience project managing multiple HR Projects/Organisational Development initiatives and be used to consulting with various levels of senior staff.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Leading programs of strategic initiatives concurrently across the business
  • Researching and reporting on industry best practice
  • Consulting with stakeholders, external consultants and staff to design, develop and implement initiatives
  • Seek input and follow up with staff for feedback on the effectiveness of initiatives alongside monitoring the implementation and engagement of the initiatives
  • Create strong relationships with stakeholders to support the implementation of initiatives
  • Manage all associated administration with the projects of the team
  • Prepare content for and present workshops to engage and educate staff

About you:
  • Senior level experience in a HR Projects/Organisational Development role
  • Experience in the Healthcare/Community Services sector would be desirable
  • Relevant tertiary HR qualification or equivalent
  • Experience designing and implementing new initiatives/projects and thinking outside the box
  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Advanced analytical and planning ability with experience working in a project capacity
  • Self-motivated and highly organised
  • Experience consulting with senior level stakeholders
  • Experience designing presentations and training
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability and eagerness to build strong relationships with staff
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong capability and confidence with technology, especially Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work in a small, close knit team, and autonomously
