The Opportunity:
Our client is in the midst of a period of growth and is in need of an experienced technology recruiter to support the CTO and IT team with project based roles on a 3 month fixed term contract basis. With roles spanning the IT team, especially software development and data, the successful candidate will need extensive experience recruiting a range of technology roles and have confidence partnering with a CTO and providing expert advice. Reporting to the Head of Talent and working closely with the CTO the role will manage the process end to end with a focus on directly sourcing and headhunting the perfect candidates for the roles. A strong knowledge of the IT industry and the best places/methods to source specialist candidates is essential, along with experience and confidence in contacting candidates directly.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Managing processes end-to-end
- Proactively headhunting candidates and building market maps
- Working with the CTO to develop a dedicated sourcing strategy
- Managing the online and internal recruitment systems to ensure excellent stakeholder and candidate experience
- Working with the internal team to develop and maximise the EVP
- Senior level recruitment/talent acquisition experience with extensive knowledge of the technology/ICT industry
- Strategic experience working with senior level stakeholders and candidates
- Extensive experience with end to end talent acquisition processes focused on best practice, efficiency and ensuring the best candidate and employee experience
- Experience in headhunting passive candidates, talent pooling and developing market maps
- Understanding of local/regional recruitment practices and relevant employment law and visa processes
- Skilled with various recruitment ATS/CRM software and the ability to utilise them effectively
- Comfortable working autonomously with strong time management and organisational skills
- Self-motivated and highly organised
- Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability and eagerness to build strong relationships with staff and candidates
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
