Joining one of the group’s most successful divisions, this senior level role will lead the growth of their Energy & Utilities Investments as a part of the wider infrastructure portfolio. The role will be hands on, comprising of analytical work, financial modelling, and asset management for current and future investment opportunities which will span across Australia and Internationally.
This large sophisticated investment firm has a rare opportunity for an experienced Manager to join one of Australia's leading Global Infrastructure investment teams in Sydney.
With a passion for infrastructure you will work with clients and co-investors on investment matters including analysis, asset management initiatives, governance, structuring and operational requirements. As the Manager you will be responsible for financial modelling, valuation analysis and asset management for current and new investment opportunities. This includes macro / market and sector research and individual investment due diligence and monitoring. This role will require you to have strong commercial acumen and the ability to identify and critically analyse key business issues and strategy. You will be tasked with the preparation of structured business reports, interpretation of complex material and make decisions based on imperfect information. The portfolio team is required to managed and develop client relationships as well as monitor sector, market and economic conditions and assess their impact on client infrastructure portfolios. As the Manager you will tasked with building out the internal team and coordination of resources across the group.
This role is suited to an experienced Investment professional who has experience working in the infrastructure market, with exposure to the Energy & Utilities sectors favourable. Strong financial modelling & due diligence skills are required, and this position requires superb stakeholder management. You will be expected to decide allocation to specific portfolio assets for management responsibilities and allocation to analysis/execution of new investment opportunities. In this leadership role you will be expected to interact with senior management and external advisers to produce results and develop long-term productive relationships.
