Job Description

This is an exciting, newly created role! A great opportunity to shape and grow the role from within. You will support the internal IT users, provide overall network and server support services, manage both external and internal phone systems, and provide oversight in nurse call systems.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Act as the technician for installation and repair of all IT system issues throughout the business
  • Oversee network infrastructure and coordinate installation and repairs as necessary
  • Provide ongoing user management support in Microsoft Exchange
  • Regularly review and maintain our internal servers
  • Install and upgrade installed programs and manage licences as required
  • Provide to support to our Mitel phone systems and other internal comms systems including handset repairs and maintenance
  • Manage overall network security and firewalls
  • Aid and oversee repairs and maintenance to nurse call systems and infrastructure management systems
  • Manage our Mobile device networkPC re-imaging, hardware upgrades, and ‘out-of-box’ builds, installations and customisations
  • Assist in the asset tracking and work order systems
  • Assemble and maintain system design documentation
You will have:
  • Tertiary qualifications in IT or equivalent industry experience
  • Previous experience working in Desktop Support position, or similar
  • Knowledge and proficiency in the Microsoft suite of programs including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Server management, AD and Exchange+ECP - Azure and O365 highly regarded
  • Basic knowledge of IP networking including DNS, routing and switching
  • Printer and other hardware deployments and troubleshooting
  • MDM experience – iOS and Android
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Quality focus, detail-oriented and accurate
  • Strong priority and time management skills
  • Commitment to documentation and knowledge sharing
  • Commitment to ongoing personal development and a willingness to update your current qualifications
  • Drivers Licence
  • National Police Clearance or willingness to obtain
