Job Description
Primary responsibilities:
- Provide Levels 1 - 3 IT support - including but not limited to computers, printers, scanners, servers, network infrastrastructure and conferencing equipment, with relevant escalations when required.
- Proactively participate in the effective use and promotion of the IT ticketing system in accordance with SLAs via effectively recording, analysing, prioritising, tracking, and actioning support cases.
- Adhere to and promote IT-related policies, processes, and guidelines.
- Assist in the enrolment of Corporate and Project staff onto Palladium enterprise systems.
- Participate in controlling systems' access and security.
- Install, configure, and maintain computers and other IT related equipment and software in accordance with the Standard Operating Environment.
- Deploy ICT infrastructure, networks, and communication in alignment with company policies, guidelines, and standards.
- Maintain the asset register.
- Provide training to staff on applications, equipment, and IT-related processes.
- Coordinate the repair and replacement of IT equipment according to pre-established maintenance or warranty contracts.
- Monitor backups and other key regional operational systems in accordance with defined schedules.
- Attendance at all weekly and/or team meetings,
- Provision of weekly update calls to the line manager,
- Other reporting as requested by the line manager
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or equivalent.
- More 4 years of relevant IT Experience.
- Experience in Microsoft Windows Desktop and Server Operating Systems,
- Experience in Microsoft Office 365
- Experience in the administration of Microsoft SharePoint and associated services.
- Experience in Active Directory Users & Computers,
- Proficient in operating system imaging and application deployment tools
- Understanding of different Network technologies including DHCP, DNS, Subnetting, Routing, etc., Experience in computer hardware,
- Have the ability to multitask, work under pressure, take initiative, and acquire and apply technical skills as necessary,
- Have the ability to quickly understand complex problems and devise effective solutions, Meet deadlines,
- Excellent written, presentation and verbal communication skills,
- Must take directions well and be a motivated self
